Blackboard named to 2022 Forbes Best Employers list

Boca Raton, Fla. – March 1, 2022 – Blackboard, now part of Anthology, was recently named as one of the best midsize companies to work for on Forbes’ Best Employers 2022 list. The award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. Anthology and Blackboard completed a merger in October 2021.

Anthology and Blackboard’s combined workforce now includes more than 3,600 employees around the world. These employees support 150 million users in more than 80 countries across 60 different SaaS products and services, helping to provide dynamic, data-informed experiences to the global education community.

Forbes and Statista selected America’s Best Employers through an independent survey applied to a vast sample of approximately 60,000 American employees. Across 25 industry sectors, 1,000 employers have been recognized in both the large and midsize categories. The evaluation was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees that were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. Employee evaluations also included other employers in their respective industries that stood out either positively or negatively.
