At Anthology, the countdown to 2025 is underway! - Anthology launched a new vision, mission and brand. Power of Together was revealed at Anthology Together 2024 and emphasizes our award-winning Blackboard® (LMS), Anthology® Student (SIS/ERP), and Anthology® Reach (CRM) solutions.
- Anthology announced Blackboard secured a top placement in the inaugural Tambellini StarChart™ 2024 for Learning Management Systems (LMS). Blackboard was rated as a Commander, a distinction reserved for market leaders with highly innovative and user-focused designs that push the boundaries of technology and usability to new heights.
- Anthology hit the official one-year mark of Blackboard’s AI Design Assistant, and the lessons learned from being the first LMS provider to deliver integrated AI capabilities for instructors and designers are shared with the industry here: Twelve Months of the AI Design Assistant.
- Anthology Student, our fully cloud-based student information system (SIS), ranked as a Commander in the Tambellini StarChart™: 2024 Student Systems, and Anthology Student was rated the most innovative full-market, generally available solution for 2024. - Anthology Reach now natively integrates with Blackboard and Anthology® Engage to provide advisors with a holistic view of student achievement through academic engagement and co-curricular involvement insights, which is directly available in the advisor’s workspace and includes an exclusive AI-powered student engagement scoring model.
- Anthology championed Digital Accessibility and Inclusion with our biggest Global Accessibility Awareness Month event ever! Events included a joint webinar between Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Anthology on Accessibility and Inclusivity in Technology, promotional access to our Accessibility training course for faculty and friends, and participation in Educause’s Demo Day on Accessibility. But we don’t stop there; Anthology publicly emphasizes our commitment to accessibility and inclusive design.
- Anthology Engage powered the student experience of top institutions in 2025 College Rankings. In the Wall Street Journal’s Top 10 U.S. Colleges for Student Experience, six of these top-ranked schools—including the top four—rely on Anthology® Engage to power their student engagement strategies. In the 2025 WSJ/College Pulse Best Colleges Rankings, six of the top 10 public institutions and five of the top public and private institutions in this ranking use Anthology® Engage to support their students' co-curricular engagement and growth.
- As institutions seek to use data, analytics, and AI to help improve efficiency and promote student success, Anthology® Illuminate continues to invest in aligning the data sets from Blackboard, Anthology Student, and Anthology Reach to simplify access to those data-driven insights at an institution. These efforts resulted in Anthology ranking as a Commander in the Tambellini StarChart™: 2024 Student Analytics Oct 2024 Report.
- Anthology posted a record number of success stories, including an amazing new partnership with TETFund as they expand higher education access in Nigeria with Blackboard, University of Advancing Technology shared the benefits of migrating to the cloud with Anthology Student, Tuoro University transformed the application experience with Anthology Reach, University of Northampton leveraged Anthology Illuminate to assess the interrelationship between course design and student interaction, and many more.
- Anthology Services announced that we are improving the student experience across our Help Desk, OneStop, Enrollment, and Marketing services with AI-Enabled Enrollment and Retention Services, Powered by AWS. The Anthology Services team has been helping institutions increase enrollment, improve student retention, and so much more!

Carisa Stringer is vice president, product marketing at Anthology, where she is responsible for positioning, messaging, and client value across Anthology’s portfolio of education technology solutions. She joined Anthology in 2022 and has more than 20 years’ experience working in enterprise software across a variety of industries. Carisa received her BS in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
