About Anthology
Anthology was founded more than a decade ago when Asian Books of Cambridge, Massachusetts, a seller of fine and scholarly books on Asia and the Islamic world, became the first Harvard Square bookstore to computerize its operations. In 1989, Anthology, Inc. was organized to provide a powerful, easy-to-use and inexpensive bookstore management system. The company's president Pei-shan VanZoeren, designer and bookseller with over 20 years of experience, introduced Anthology at the 1990 American Booksellers Association convention, achieving unprecedented success, and gaining hundreds of users nationwide.

Since that time, Anthology has continued to grow and develop into one of the fastest growing inventory control systems in the bookselling industry. Furthermore, retailers from other industries are also discovering the functionality and intuitive nature of Anthology, and recognize its versatility in meeting the inventory control needs of their stores.

With hundreds of users worldwide, our vision is to empower booksellers by creating powerful, easy-to-use, affordable inventory control solutions that do not rely on proprietary technologies, but rather allow booksellers the freedom to choose the equipment and software they want to use. Anthology, Inc. provides solutions that give booksellers the information they need to make the best decisions about their business, and the tools they need to implement those decisions in today's competitive bookselling market.
